This is a charity competition in aid of Cancer Research UK
Entry is open to any fencer aged 13 or over on 1st January 2019
All eligible fencers will receive South West Regional Ranking points
Two rounds of poules followed by full Direct Elimination tableaux.
Depending on entry numbers for both genders, the initial round may be mixed.
Medals for each gender will be awarded to the top four, the best Veteran (aged over 40 on 1st January 2019 i.e. born in 1978 or earlier), and the best Cadet (aged under 17 on 1st January 2019 i.e. born in 2002 or later).
A mixed Plate competition will be included if time permits.
Current membership of British Fencing at Compete level is required for all fencers
Fencers must use at least 800N plastrons and 350N jackets and breeches
This venue has a café, which will be open on the day for food and drinks
